  • The Town House is located half-way down Broad Street, a tree-lined high street brimming with independent shops, pubs & restaurants in the heart of the beautiful Georgian market town of New Alresford, Hampshire.

    Not too far from Winchester and the A31 and surrounded by the wonderful Hampshire countryside.

  • During the day, on Street parking is free for two hours. From 6pm you are welcome to park there for as long as you like!

    Parking at The Station (just a 3 minute walk) is £3 for up to 3 hours, and again is free from 6pm.

    Parking a Perin’s School (just a 5 minute walk) is £1.40 for up to 4 hours, and £2 for over 4 hours and again, is free from 6pm.

    There is another car park at Arlebury Park at the top of The Avenue where you can also pay to park for as long as you like and enjoy a stroll down the hill and into Alresford.

  • Dogs

    • Dogs are welcome in The Gallery, The Snug and The Garden - as long as they are well behaved.

    • We kindly ask that you always keep them on their leads.

    • Hoover, The House Spaniel may be around - so we expect your dogs to be as friendly and polite as he is.

    • Legally recognised service & assistance dogs are, of course, welcome in all areas of The House.

    Children

    • The House was designed for adults, but we aim to be child-friendly.

    • We welcome children throughout The House, and can provide a Children’s Menu and Highchairs upon request.

    • We kindly ask you to be considerate of our other guests, and for your children to remain seated at your table.

  • We are always on the look out for friendly & enthusiastic people to join our young & fun team at The Town House, Alresford.

    We offer great rates of pay, your fair share of the tips plus lots of other treats.

  • The Town House is run by Henry & Minnie, a young husband & wife team determined to bring London standards to this part of the countryside.

    Henry has hospitality in his blood and is never not hosting, nothing makes him happier than chatting to customers & ensuring each & every one of you receives exceptional service from the moment you walk through the door.

    Minnie, on the other hand, is responsible for all things creative, admin-y & organising our bespoke parties.

    We’ve bagged ourselves a brilliant team of creative chefs & charismatic front of house. And so far, so good…

    P.S. we all know the real boss is our spaniel, Hoover!
